About The LANBox

Welcome to The LANBox. The LANBox is an online community with a focus on games, IT, TV and movies. We have many active members who welcome new members into our warm and friendly atmosphere. Permission to join is NOT required, just sign up on the forum and introduce yourself.

The LANBox is 100% Australian and is administered and operated by Grant 'blaknite' Colegate (yes bring on the toothpaste jokes) and his dedicated team. Our aim is to bring you the latest news in gaming, tech, TV and movies in our own witty style. No regurgitation; not ever.

The LANBox was founded in 2007 by blaknite as a forum for a newly launched Garry's Mod server. The server quickly grew in popularity along with the forum. By 2009, the LANBox had grown to include several Garry's Mod servers, a Counter-Strike: Source server and a highly popular Team Fortress 2 server operated by Anakin. With this success came the expansion of the LANBox website to include new, reviews and tutorials.

Now in its fifth year, The LANBox aims to return to the gaming community scene with new dedication and resolve. Familiar faces abound and we are always playing the latest games on our community servers and others so join in the fun!
